Things to Do in Las Vegas in 2025: New Attractions

The city continues to excite with a slate of new things to do in Las Vegas opening in 2025. This year’s additions offer something for everyone, from adrenaline-pumping adventures to immersive experiences that celebrate culture, entertainment, and history:

  • Area15 is getting a 20-acre expansion and a new name: “The Las Vegas Immersive District”. Created by Universal Destinations & Experiences, this new district will feature Universal Horror Unleashed (including 4 year-round haunted houses) and the John Wick Experience, opening February 2025. It will also include retail and office space, plus 200 hotel rooms and housing.
  • F1 is creating a year-round presence in Vegas, with the brand new Grand Prix Plaza expected to open around spring. This 39-acre complex will house the Las Vegas Grand Prix Pit building, and a karting experience on part of the race circuit featuring Fi-inspired carts equipped with the latest interactive tech. There will also be shopping, dining, racing simulators, and interactive exhibits. You can find F1 on the Strip too—the F1 Arcade Las Vegas will open at the Forum Shops in the fall, featuring 87 simulators, a 41-foot Champagne Bar, and an outdoor terrace.
  • The Evil Knievel Museum is opening, featuring a collection of artifacts that tell the story of Evil’s career. It’s located less than 5 miles from Caesar’s Place where Knievel famously jumped the fountains in 1967.
  • The “Friends” Experience: The One in Vegas will be here for you inside MGM Grand, in the space that previously housed “CSI: The Experience” and “The Hunger Games: The Exhibition”. The “Friends” Experience will feature recreations of Central Perk, Monica’s apartment and other sets, original props and costumes, and references to Ross and Rachel’s Vegas wedding.
  • Bob Marley Hope Road will open in the former Bayside Buffet Space at Mandalay Bay. Executive produced by Marley’s children Cedella and Ziggy, Bob Marley Hope Road will offer an immersive walk-through experience and a live show celebrating Marley’s music and influence.
  • The Las Vegas Spaceport is breaking ground near Pahrump. While you wait for commercial space travel to open up, check out the Interstellar Arc at Area15, scheduled to open in fall 2025. It promises to take visitors “on an epic 26th-century deep-space mission across the far reaches of the cosmos.”
  • BLVD, a sprawling 400,000 square foot retail center replacing the Hawaiian Marketplace on the Strip will open up. Tenants include Puma, Adidas, JD Sports, H&M, and what is expected to be the world’s largest In-N-Out Burger.

Concerts & Residencies

Las Vegas is a town that loves live music. While a few long-standing residencies are saying goodbye in 2024, several new artists are setting up shop for either a few shows or for long-term stays. There’s sure to be something for everyone—after all, the town that invented residencies never disappoints:

  • Janet Jackson at Resorts World: This residency technically opened December 30, but will continue through 2025.
  • Black Shelton: Live in Las Vegas at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace (February 5)
  • Black Eyed Peas: 3008—The Las Vegas Residency at PH LIve at Planet Hollywood (February 15)
  • Mötley Crüe: The Las Vegas Residency in Dolby Live at Park MGM (March 25)
  • The Best of All Worlds Tour — The Residency, featuring Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony, Joe Satriani and Kenny Aronoff, in Dolby Live (April 30)
  • Josh Groban: Gems in The Colosseum (May 9)
  • Joan Jett & The Blackhearts in the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay (June 13)
  • New Kids on the Block: The Right Stuff in Dolby Live (June 20).

Allegiant Stadium also will host one-off performances by:

  • AC/DC (April 26)
  • Post Malone and Jelly Roll (May 3)
  • Kendrick Lamar and SZA (May 31)
  • Coldplay (June 6-7)
  • Shakira (June 28)

Fresh Events

Las Vegas is turning up the excitement in 2025 with a lineup of fresh events that promise unforgettable experiences for visitors and locals alike. From world-class entertainment to high-octane thrills, here’s what you won’t want to miss:

  • Wrestlemania is back after a 30 year hiatus. Last held in 1993 in the parking lot of Caesar’s Palace, Wrestlemania 41 is moving up.Taking place at Allegiant Stadium, this year’s instalment of pro wrestling’s most exciting event promises electrifying matches and larger-than-life entertainment.
  • BravoCon is returning to Caesar’s Forum on November 14-16 after taking a hiatus in 2024. If you consider yourself a reality TV lover, you can’t miss this celebration of all things Bravo with opportunities to meet favorite stars, attend panels, and immerse in the drama and glamour of reality television.
  • Aviation Nation, Vegas’s once-annual air show, is soaring back into action in 2025,. Headlined by the renowned U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, the event features jaw-dropping air stunts, vintage aircraft displays, and interactive exhibits. It’s scheduled for April 5-6.

Restaurant Openings

Once renowned for its lavish buffets, Las Vegas has successfully pivoted to being the home of the celebrity chef. Here’s what’s new on the restaurant scene in Las Vegas in 2025:

  • Netflix Bites: Order up food inspired by Netflix shows at this one-year culinary residency. It’s scheduled to open in early 2025 at the MGM Grand.
  • Zero Bond: This new member’s only club for people with “the connections and disposable income to pass its rigorous application process” (according to the Las Vegas Review Journal). Situated inside Wynn Las Vegas, this is Zero Bond’s second location in the US. Memberships at their flagship New York location range from $2,750 a year with a $750 initiation fee for those younger than 28 to $4,400 a year with a $5,000 initiation fee for those 45 and older.
  • Via Via: For those of us who don’t have four figures to drop on a club membership, head over to the Venetian’s brand new Food Hall, featuring a variety of eats including breakfast joints, hot chicken, ramen, pizza, signature cocktails, and more.
  • Stubborn Seed by Top Chef winner Jeremy Ford is coming to Resorts World.
  • Jason Aldeen’s Kitchen + Bar brings Nashville to Vegas with southwestern cuisine, live music, and rooftop views of Vegas.

Casino Expansions

There are no new casinos on deck to open in 2025, but several existing establishments are renovating and upgrading:

  • The Venetian is continuing to open newly refreshed spaces as part of its $1.5B resort-wide reinvestment project
  • Durango is adding 25,000 square feet of casino space and an additional parking garage
  • Ellis Island is getting a larger gaming floor, a center bar, and a rooftop event space
  • El Cortez is building two new bars and additional 10,000 square feet of casino space
