New Las Vegas Attractions
9. AREA15
This hot new attraction combines art and commerce with food and nightlife for a 360-degree Vegas experience. Gaze up at the massive 23-foot-tall LED maple tree as you enjoy cocktails at the Oddwood bar, then scoot over to Lost Spirits, an interactive on-site distillery, for a rum tasting. You’ll also find virtual reality and a motorized zipline at AREA15, as well as lots of great food and an interactive art installation.
10. The Bend
Scheduled to open in late 2022 or early 2023 is a new outdoor shopping and dining complex called The Bend. What’s the best part of this new spot? Electric Pickle, which will feature nine pickleball courts spanning three acres. After a game of tennis meets ping pong meets badminton, grab a bite to eat at the two-story restaurant with a rooftop bar. Even if Pickleball isn’t your thing, you can enjoy live music, cornhole or bocce ball on the lawn.
New Las Vegas Restaurants
From classic American steak houses to Parisian hors d’oeuvres, an eclectic assortment of new Las Vegas restaurants are heating up along the Strip, like Chickie’s & Pete’s, Casa Playa and Takumi Izakaya, to name just a few. Also on our radar are:
12. Mayfair Supper Club
Located where the Hyde Bellagio nightclub used to be, Mayfair delivers dinner and a full night of entertainment. Step back in time to the roaring 20s with an experience inspired by vintage London supper clubs featuring singers, dancers and live musicians.
13. Delilah
Another spot that offers a roaring 20s vibe, Delilah is where it’s at if you’re looking for a savory steak dinner, vintage cocktails and live entertainment. Be prepared to party all night at this prohibition-era speakeasy.
14. Vanderpump à Paris
British restaurateur and TV personality Lisa Vanderpump is set to open Vanderpump à Paris inside Paris Las Vegas. Take in the eclectic Parisian flair complete with statues, awnings and custom light fixtures while you enjoy whimsical cocktails and delectable light bites.
15. The Bedford
Martha Stewart is teaming up with BFF Snoop Dogg to open a new restaurant at the Paris casino. No official announcement has been made yet, but this odd-couple concept is so bizarre, it sounds like the perfect fit for Vegas. The only question remaining is where will it be? We did some snooping around (see what we did there?) and rumor has it The Bedford might replace Martorano’s. That’s just hearsay, though. Stay tuned for more on this joint venture!
16. Peter Luger Steak House
Peter Luger Steak House has announced it will open at Caesars Palace at the end of 2022. Also known as “New York City’s original steak house,” this Michelin-starred restaurant has been serving world-class food for more than a century. If you’re craving a striploin on the Strip, you won’t want to miss this American classic.
New Las Vegas Hotels
17. Circa Resort & Casino
The amp goes to eleven at Circa, a new 35-story hotel located downtown at the Fremont Street Experience. It’s the first hotel and casino to be built from the ground up in the downtown core in decades, and it’s also the first hotel in Las Vegas to be exclusively “21 and over.” Circa strives to help its visitors capture the moment by “creating experiences that electrify the soul and memories that will last forever.”
18. The English Hotel
In addition to recently opening The Beast at AREA15 and rejuvenating Olives at Virgin Hotels, celebrity chef Todd English is now working with developer Z Life to build a boutique hotel in the Downtown Arts District. The new hotel is scheduled to open in 2022 and will feature 74 rooms, a pool, and—of course—a seafood restaurant called the Pepper Club.
Newly Renovated Las Vegas Hotels
A little nip and tuck can go a long way to improving an old favorite. Here are some classic hotels ready to boast a fresh new look in 2022:
19. Caesars Palace & Nobu Hotel
Another oldie but goodie, Caesars Palace will soon show off a brand new front entrance, a new lobby bar, and new games on the casino floor. Even more exciting, though, are the renovations happening at Nobu Hotel this year. According to Rockwell Group, the New York-based architecture and design firm leading the reno, the new rooms will give a more residential and modern feel.
20. The Palms
The Palms may not be new, but it has changed ownership and has undergone some massive renovations since shutting down in early 2020 due to the pandemic. The new and improved Palms is set to reopen in the first half of 2022 along with some new dining options.
